Consumers can use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at / http://ec.europa.eu/odr / – a single access portal that allows consumers and traders in the EU to resolve disputes between them.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) between consumers and traders is an out-of-court conciliation procedure on a voluntary basis.
General Conciliation Commissions assist in reaching an agreement between consumers and traders in disputes regarding contracts for the sale of goods and the provision of services.
The General Conciliation Commissions are determined on a regional basis, and the competent body to resolve disputes between the Merchant and the Consumer is the General Conciliation Commission with its seat in Sofia and its area of operation covering the territory of Sofia region.
